GOAL USA St. Patrick’s Day Campaign 2008
Shamrock badges once again adorned the lapels of guests at the 2008 St. Patrick’s Day Governor’s Breakfast at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, as GOAL kicked off its 3rd annual St. Patrick’s Day badge campaign which netted $2,700 for our humanitarian programs in the developing world.
The badges were also available at well known Irish establishments in New York City, such as Artisanal, Bua, Fitzpatrick’s Hotel, O’Briens and Stout.
A big thank you to the GOAL volunteers, committee members and to the I.S. 52 school students who moved badges during the breakfast. GOAL would also like to thank the Irish Chamber of Commerce USA for their generous invitation, without which none of this would have been possible.
GOAL has maintained an exceptionally low administration cost over the last 31 years, ensuring that the funds go directly to those who need it most.
