WEAR GREEN FOR GOAL
On Friday, May 2nd, at the first ever Wear Green for GOAL Day in the US, IS52 school raised funds for GOAL’s work in the developing world!
The day was spearheaded by the Human Rights Club and over 300 7th grade students with green pants, shirts, hair and faces attended a presentation given by Angela Dean and Martha Hourican on GOAL’s work in the developing world and about the current situation in Darfur.
Following the presentation a check was presented to GOAL by the school and the three “greenest” students were awarded prizes.
Congratulations to IS52 and their Human Rights Club on an outstanding achievement!
