OVERALL DESCRIPTION
GOAL the international humanitarian organization, is currently operating in 12 developing countries implementing programmes that target the world’s poorest and most
vulnerable people. GOAL employs over 2,000 staff and manages over €60m of projects.
GOAL now requires an Assistant Operations Manager for its Head Office.
The Role: point of contact between Head Office and designated Country Directors; support/monitor the creation and implementation of country programmes; represent GOAL with donors, link Operations with all other departments. Reporting to the Operations Manager.
The Person: proven experience in presenting and delivering complex detailed project proposals. Interest and commitment to overseas relief, rehabilitation and development activities.
Requirements:
- 3 years experience overseas preferably in a management position.
- Third level qualification in Development Studies or similar preferable.
- Additional languages desirable.
