GOAL has received in excess of US$2.3 million in grants from the
US and UK governments for its relief work in the Bagh region of
Kashmir, Pakistan.
OFDA, the emergency arm of the US government has allocated US$2
million to GOAL while the UK Government has promised £200,000
to the Dublin based agency.
GOAL has a team of 12 specialists in Bagh and over the weekend they
distributed winterised tents, food and other supplies to some of
the 30,000 destitute families in the area.
