ICAP’s 16th annual global Charity Day raised an enormous US$16.4m, of which a portion will go towards GOAL’s work in the Developing World.
On ICAP Charity Day all revenues and commissions from the firms dealings are given to charity.
We would like to extend a very special thank you to Oscar-nominated actor Matt Dillon for representing GOAL on the day. Matt Dillon walked through the trading floors, motivating employees and closing several tough deals in order to help ICAP trade as much as possible to raise funds for charity. 
Michael Spencer from ICAP called the result “an absolutely incredible achievement particularly in the current environment…support and extra effort for Charity Day is very clearly evident in this outstanding result”.
In 2007, ICAP donated funds from the Charity Day went to construct 3 schools in Honduras and a school in Malawi.
GOAL USA is thrilled to have been selected once again to be a part of this fantastic event. All the money raised comes from ICAP and the pockets of ICAP brokers and we are very grateful for their generosity.
