Sir,
Recently the International Court of Justice ordered Uganda to repay
the Democratic Republic of the Congo's government $10bn in reparation
for their part in the invasion of the Congo in which 5 million people
died and where billions of dollars worth of minerals were stolen.
Yet the Irish government will this year channel in excess of €33
million through the Ugandan government.
Talk about having a collection for Bill Gates at the church gate
on Sunday.
